The Aostle Paul writes, "And he [Jesus] gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes." (Ephesians 4:11-14)
prayer
Prayer is a powerful weapon to be used against the enemy. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" (Phil 4:6). Prayer is held before all worship services. elders / seniors
Wisdom Ministry is designed for our "seasoned" members and those in the community who are age 55 an up. This ministry meets the 1st Thursday of the month. (Exceptions are January and September.) For more information, contact Sis. Barbara Adams.
sunday school
Sunday School is held every Sunday. On 1st and 3rd Sundays, Sunday School begins directly after the Early Morning Manna service (11:00 am.). On 2nd and 4th Sunday, Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. For more information, please contact the Superintendent, Bro. William Houston.
children & youth
The Children & Youth Ministry is a vital part of church growth. CYM gives the children and youth an opportunity to go on trips, fellowship, participate in the worship service, and read, study and meditate on the Word of God. For more information, please contact Wanda Gillom.
young adults
The Young Adult Ministry caters to those 18-35. The goal is to build up this ministry by connecting with this age group as these are the future leaders of the church. For more information, contact Sis. Bridgett Brown.
music
The Music Ministry is led by Minister Laura Gillom. She is accompanied by Bro. Sherard Ward (drummer), Bro. Johnny Brown (drummer), and Bro. Jeremy Gipson (bassist). The ministry consists of the Children & Youth Choirs, the Mass Choir, the Women's Choir, and the Male Choir. Rehearsal times vary. Please contact Minister Gillom for more information.
media
The Media Ministry is availble every Sunday to record videos of the worship services. If you would like a coppy of any service, contact any member of the Media Ministry Team: Sis. Priscilla Fisher, Bro. Caleb Herod, Bro. Jerry Isom, or Bro. Ricky McGee. A donation of $5 will be accepted.
